Marketing Automation

Funnels that follow up so you do not have to

Most businesses do not have a lead problem, they have a follow-up problem. Leads arrive, nobody gets back to them fast enough, and they go cold. I build the funnels, nurture sequences and campaign automation that keep working on every lead long after your team has moved on.

Built in GoHighLevel, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign or whatever you already run, with tracking wired in so you can see which campaigns produce booked calls rather than just opens.

The leak

You are probably paying for leads you never speak to

Before adding more traffic, it is worth checking how much of your current traffic is being wasted.

The funnel most businesses actually have

An ad drives clicks to a page. Some people fill in a form. The form emails somebody. That person gets to it when they get to it. There is no second attempt, no segmentation, and no way to tell which ad produced the one deal that closed. Every stage leaks and none of it is measured.

What it should look like

Traffic hits a page built for one action. The form writes straight into the CRM. The lead is contacted within seconds, then followed up on a schedule that adapts to their behaviour. Attribution ties the eventual booking back to the ad that started it, so you know what to spend more on.

Worth doing before you spend more on ads: most businesses can increase booked calls without increasing traffic at all, simply by responding faster and following up more than twice.

What I build

The whole funnel, wired end to end

From the ad click to the booked call to the follow-up nobody had time to send.

🧵

Funnel builds

Complete funnels from ad click through landing page, opt-in and booking. Built in GoHighLevel, HubSpot or as custom pages, with every step tracked so you can see where people drop out.

📧

Nurture sequences

Multi-step email and SMS that adapt to behaviour. Opens, clicks and replies branch the contact down a different path automatically, and replying removes them from the sequence.

🎯

Segmentation and scoring

Contacts scored on behaviour and fit, then segmented so the right message reaches the right person instead of one blast to everybody. Segmented sends outperform broadcasts by a wide margin.

📱

SMS and multichannel

Email, SMS and ringless voicemail firing in sequence, so follow-up reaches people on the channel they actually respond to rather than the one you prefer.

Speed-to-lead

New leads contacted within seconds of arriving, automatically. The single highest-impact change most businesses can make to their conversion rate.

📈

Attribution and reporting

Dashboards showing which campaigns, ads and sequences produce booked calls and revenue, not just opens and clicks. So budget decisions are based on outcomes.

What to measure

Vanity metrics versus the ones that pay

Reporting is set up around the right column, because that is what changes what you should do next.

How it works

From leaky funnel to running system

01

Map the funnel

We trace what happens to a lead today, from first touch to close, and mark every point they can fall out.

02

Build the assets

Landing pages, forms, email and SMS copy written and built. You review and approve everything before it goes near a real contact.

03

Wire the automation

Triggers, branches, scoring and clean handoff into your CRM, so nothing needs a human to move it along.

04

Test end to end

I push real test leads through the entire funnel including the failure paths, before a single live contact enters it.

05

Launch and optimise

Live with tracking, then tuned on actual numbers. Subject lines, timings and sequencing adjusted on evidence.

Engagement

What this costs to build and run

Build cost

Fixed price quoted after discovery. A single funnel with one nurture sequence is typically one to two weeks. A full multi-segment build with attribution runs longer, and you get the figure before work starts.

Running cost

Your marketing platform subscription, plus SMS charges if we use it. Both are billed to you directly at cost, never marked up through me, and sized during scoping so there are no surprises.

Ongoing

30 days of support included. After that, optional monthly retainers cover new campaigns, seasonal sequences and continued optimisation as you learn what works.

Common questions

Marketing automation, answered honestly

Only if it is badly built. Sequences stop the instant someone replies or books, respect unsubscribes properly, and are written to be genuinely useful rather than nagging. Done well, most recipients cannot tell it is automated. The reply rate tells you whether it worked.
Usually your current tools will do. GoHighLevel is excellent when you want funnels, CRM, email and SMS in one place, particularly for agencies and local service businesses. If you already run HubSpot or ActiveCampaign properly there is often no reason to move. I will tell you honestly which applies rather than pushing a platform I prefer.
Under a minute for the automated first touch, usually within seconds. What matters more is what that first message says. An instant generic autoresponder is worse than useless, so the first touch is written to be specific to what they enquired about.
Frequently what I am asked to do. I audit what exists, keep what works, and rebuild only what is broken. That is normally cheaper than starting again and it means you keep any historical data and performance you already have.
Part of the build, not an afterthought. Domain authentication with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, sensible sending volumes, list hygiene and separate domains for cold outreach where appropriate. Sending automated email without this is how businesses end up in spam permanently.
No, and I would be wary of anyone offering to do everything. I build the machine that receives the traffic and converts it. If you already have someone running ads, I make their traffic worth more. If you do not, I can recommend people.
Because I set up reporting on outcomes, not activity. You will see cost per booked call, median speed to lead, and which sequences produce replies, in dashboards you own and can check without me.
Then nurture matters more, not less. Long cycles are exactly where automated follow-up outperforms humans, because staying in contact for six months without dropping anyone is something software does well and people do not.
